Is there a Bridal Room for us to get ready in?
If you’d like to get ready on-site, we recommend booking a 2-night stay at the beautiful InterContinental Sorrento. Staying at our wedding venue on the Mornington Peninsula means you can wake up after a restful night's sleep and get ready inside your luxury room without having to move or stress. Why not celebrate and order a bottle of champagne and some room service?
Can I have live music?
We understand how important and impactful entertainment for guests is. That’s why we allow DJs and bands to play until 11 pm within the indoor function spaces of all our Mornington Peninsula wedding venues.
Is there parking on-site?
There is car parking for hotel guests, costing $35 per vehicle per night underground the hotel. There is also lots of public parking around the hotel on the Main Street and side streets. Please note that no parking can be reserved, so guests attending our wedding venues on the Mornington Peninsula are asked to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Is there a dancefloor in the reception room?
Yes! Whether it’s your first dance or everyone up on the dancefloor together, we ensure there is a space for your dancefloor within our reception spaces. As with any memorable occasion, we understand how important adequate space to dance together is, which is why our wedding reception venues on the Mornington Peninsula have a built-in dancefloor, ensuring you and all your wedding guests can dance the night away to your favourite songs!
When do we lock in all the final details?
We want to help you the best we can to make your planning process as stress-free as possible. Your dedicated Wedding Coordinator will be there for you to answer any questions in the leadup to your big day.
Two weeks out from your wedding ceremony date, you will have a face-to-face meeting or zoom with your Wedding Coordinator, where you’ll go through all details from when you arrive at our wedding venue on the Mornington Peninsula, to when you and your guests depart.
Do you host a wedding menu tasting?
We want you and your guests to talk about your big day for years to come, and we understand how important a role the menu plays in this. Our Mornington Peninsula wedding venues host menu tastings for the Bride and Groom at a fee of $500 which includes a glass of sparkling on arrival plus a selection of 3 entrees, mains, sides and desserts. We kindly request that personalised tastings are done at least 4-6 weeks out from your special day.
If you would like to invite parents, friends, your bridal party or just make a day of it, you can choose to dine in the Atrium and indulge in the a la carte menu that shares similar starters and mains to the packages, allowing you to get a taste of your wedding day.
